It is narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said:
“The smell of the mouth of a fasting person is better to Allah than the smell of musk.”
This Hadith addresses the physical reality of fasting—the dryness and odor of the mouth—and elevates it to a spiritual virtue. While humans may find the scent unpleasant, it is beloved by Allah because it is a direct result of a servant's devotion and sacrifice. It teaches us that what the world might judge as a "weakness" or "imperfection" caused by worship is, in the eyes of the Creator, a mark of beauty and honor.
